Loading ...Not like it used to be. ya go in a bad mood, ya get cheered up cause sombody you know has worse problems than you and then ya buyem a drink drown yer sorrows and solve the worlds problems from a barstool or a sticky booth. Today you cant speak to anuone cuz the music is too loud- noth thhat the music is bad, iguess im jus gettin old. fer fuck sake i’m listening to dr john solo piano at home alone.

Ain’t about getting old. Old fashioned bars are just not as common as they used to be. Most of them these days are either dance clubs or the kind of place you might get killed in the parking lot.
Damn shame really.
we gotta star a new bar. I hate to admit it but its a place like “Cheers”…. everybody knows your name…The music isnt so loud that you cant talk to the girl next to you….a place where you are greeted like part of the family…….
Sounds great. Problem is that folks like us are few and far between. If you can’t put together 50 like-minded people in the same neighborhood … well, then you can’t run a bar. Sucks, I know.
